Tickplex
TickPlex allows for the simultaneous determination of multiple pathogens in the complexity of tick-borne infections with a high sensitivity of ca. 95% and a specificity of 98%. TickPlex enables us to determine the antibodies against the co-pathogens Ehrlichia, Bartonella, Rickettsia, Babesia as an ELISA in contrast to all IFT assay methods that have been available so far. TickPlex detects IgM and IgG antibodies of various bacterial and viral pathogens at the same time.

The test reflects the current pathogens activity of chronic and recent infections. The EliSpot is highly sensitive and can detect even one single Borrelia burgdorferi-reactive T-cell. The EliSpot is between 20 and 200 times more sensitive than a conventional ELISA. The EliSpot should usually become negative about 4 to 8 weeks after the completion of an effective therapy.
