Attosorb 96
Attomol GmbH Molekulare Diagnostika
Attosorb is a system for DNA purification, developed and patented by Attomol, in which the DNA of a blood sample of a patient binds directly to the cavity of a PCR microplate. In contrast to conventional DNA extraction systems, the molecular genetic detection through PCR is performed in the same cavity afterwards. Therefore this easy and time-saving procedure can only be used together with our tests of the attomol product lines Realtime LT and Realtime TM.
Coagulation inhibited whole blood is pipetted into a PCR microplate and is lysed afterwards. The DNA of the blood sample binds to the solid phase of the PCR microplate and the excess materials are washed out. The remaining liquid of the washing solution is dried after the last washing step to standardize the reaction conditions for the following PCR. Afterwards the PCR is performed in the same microplate.
